Somerset has stunning countryside and The Royal Oak is ideally placed for easy access to The Blackdown and Quantock Hills, the Somerset Levels and Moors, Brendon Hills and the market towns of Taunton and Wellington and the gateway to Exmoor - Wiveliscombe.
The Royal Oak is in the style of an old coaching inn with timber ceiling beams, wood panelling, slate floors and fireplaces. The pleasant surroundings offer comfortable seating in the bar area or the restaurant. A delightful feature of the Inn is its secluded, sunny walled garden and there is also plenty of seating available here. We have a children's play area and families are always welcome.
Our award winning carvery is still every Sunday lunchtime.
See our Menu Page for our new menus.
